How to: Break up a group of objects in PowerPoint.
Solution:
Select the object group and select 'Ungroup' from the 'Draw' menu.
1) Select the object group. (Handles appear around every object in the group.)
2) Select the 'Draw' menu and select 'Ungroup' . (Each object in the group becomes an independent object.)
NOTE: Independent objects cannot be moved together.
